Barrie McDermid - Originally from down in Yorkshire, Barrie's musical career has comprised a rich variety of bands ranging from Jazz to Heavy Metal which attracted both record label interest and radio play.

Following a trip around the world which afforded Barrie the opportunity to play at venues as diverse as Fiji and Australia, he now resides in the North East and works by day as an English Teacher.

Barrie is equally at home on both Bass and Lead Guitar and also performs most of Malarkey's vocal duties.

Ged Knowles - Ged began his musical career at school where he learned both Drums and Trumpet. He then went on to perform with a number of bands in the North East before taking a break to concentrate on his career in the telecommunications industrty.

Ged decided to resume his Drumming career with 'The Invisible Dog' (see picture of the
invisible dog below), this is where he met Malarkey keyboard wizard Andy. This meeting led to Ged taking up his sticks to play drums in Malarkey.

Ged also performs backing vocals with the occasional stint on keyboards!

Paul Mileson - Following an early impact on the North East music scene, Paul decided to move to London to continue his quest for fame and fortune.

Paul not only managed to obtain an enviable music cv in this country by gracing the same stages as musicians who were playing with bands as diverse as "Take That" and "The Glitter Band", but he also notched up a few European stadiums under his musical belt along with a few headline slots at London's legendary Marquee Club!

Paul now runs his own business composing Radio Jingles which you will no doubt listen to in your car everyday and by night, dons his guitar and mandolin to play and sing with Malarkey.

Andy Buyers - South Shields born and bred, Andy played in numerous bands in London - notably a founding member of cover loons "The Sugar Plums" whose line up also contained members of "Hot Chocolate", "The Quireboys" and Samantha Fox's band.

Andy also played Bass for "Bap Kennedy" and following several European tours, he ended up managing and running the entertainment programme for a venue in Nice.

Now settled and working for a local council, Andy taps the keys, plods the bass and even strums the occasional guitar in Malarkey.
